The Austin Rover car dealership was open, with one of the sons Jonathan headed the operation that had previously served his apprenticeship at the Cwmdu Garage. In 1996 a complete redevelopment of the site saw a new showroom and used car sales area with customer facilities being built.
A lot has happened in Rich Way including the supermarket Aldi opening a store opposite our showroom in 2007. Jonathan still remains and is now joined by his daughter Sara, the third generation of the family owned business.
A look back at some of the old photos that have been given to use by local people whom remember the early days of Brecon Motors.
